What is it that you do? is a small, Arizona-based company that takes video and photographs of properties for Realtors. Our goal at VMLH is to help Realtors and owners sell their homes by generating interested and attracting buyers. As the housing marketplace slows, it's advantageous to make your home stand out from the crowd, and that's where we come in. By providing a virtual walk-thru of your home hosted by a professional presenter, you'll be providing a perspective that's just not available with standard pictures or tours. We also offer a revolutionary new form of photography called "ELC" (Enhanced Lighting Compression).

Our product is not for everyone, because it costs more than plain photos or a slide show, but compared to the cost of carrying a mortgage or dropping the listing price, it's very economical. If you have a property that needs to 'stand out', or a client who wants that extra 'edge', we'd love to help.

What makes this different from a 'virtual tour'?
A virtual tour consists of panning pictures that play over music. The pictures offer only a single point of reference, and the perspective is often distorted as the picture pans, which makes it very hard to get a sense of size and style. Some tours use a 'fisheye' lens that make your home look like it's in a glass bowl. What we provide is a full-frame, full-motion high-definition online video that walks you throughout the home, touching on all the important highlights. With a professional presenter to help you along your tour, you'll be able to gauge the size and style of every room and we'll point out specific features along the way. Obviously, nothing is as good as walking through the house yourself, but our online video is the next best thing.

Is it difficult to make?
Not at all. It usually takes an hour or two to videotape an online walk-thru, and the package is turn-key. We provide the videographer, the professional presenter, and everything else necessary. We'll sit down with you when we arrive to go over the details you'd like pointed out, and then we take care of the rest. Once it's shot, we go back to our studios and edit the package into a high-quality online video.

How long does it take?
We're usually at your home for no more than 60-90 minutes, and you don't need to be there as long as we can get in. Once the video is shot, it usually takes 24-48 hours to appear on our website. If you ordered a package with ELC Photography, we'll shoot those photos at the same time, which adds another 20-30 minutes.

What do I end up with?
Two things. First, your online video will be up on our website. We'll send you a link that you can email out to prospective buyers. The link goes directly to your page, and bypasses our front page all-together. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, you'll receive a short line of code to insert on your website. This makes our video pop up on your site directly, and allows you to customize your listing and show off your video, without forcing viewers to leave your website. You can put this code on any website you like, or multiple websites. It's a wonderful 'web 2.0' feature that no one else offers.

We'll also provide your ELC photos to you on CD-ROM, on a web gallery, and on Flickr so that they'll have the widest exposure.

How much does it cost?
Our pricing starts at $199 and goes up from there, depending on the square footage of the home and the services requested.
